I’m doing vocals in a hardcore thing coming out soon and I’ve never been in any form of band before. My buddies had music written for an album already and while it’s not 100% my current taste of hardcore anymore (would love to do a black metal project tbh), I’ve always wanted to try and give it a shot in some capacity. So just gonna do it and try not to be any more anxious and self conscious about it as I already am.

Honestly, I felt kinda like a dick about this thread, cuz I didn’t wanna tell someone who I like on board that I think their band sucks but I also don’t wanna lie n say something is good when it’s not, but everything posted is at least a solid execution of what it’s going for. (edit: Don't care if anyone shits on any of my bands because none of them so far have ended up sounding like I wanted except a few songs) (except the noise projects, cuz i gotta be honest n say that most of that kind of stuff just sounds boring to me and I don’t understand how noise music is really noise music when you can always map it to fairly conventional pop song structures n Steely Dan is a more adventurous act than NON and i love the early NON records) |
