What's a good distortion pedal to color an already overdriven signal? what type of sound are you going for?

I would love the Epiphone SG if I could find one without a D neck. They're just too damn big for my fingers.

What's a good distortion pedal to color an already overdriven signal? what type of sound are ya going for? Noisy, heavy punk. I'm already using a DS1 through a preamp pedal and I've used that for as long as my band has been together. I've tried a Swollen Pickle and a Left Hand Wrath, but I always find myself going back to the DS1. I dunno...maybe I should just stick with it.

Hi. This sounds good. And loud. Sorry to offend with the whopping 75$ I spent on sounding monstrous instead of $2k

Recently picked up this Fryette D120 and it's so fuckin' brutal. I've been playing through a Fender Bassman 100 for the last 7 years, it was time for an upgrade. I wish I could re-record literally everything I've done over the past five years with this head. The gain is so mean sounding but still crisp/clear.

One of the best sounding rigs i've ever played was a Pittbull through a Fatbottom 4x12 with those P50 speakers. I love Fryette shit

I recently purged almost all of my gear the past year and have been slowly rebuilding. Just snagged a VTM 60 for $375 and a Mesa 2x12 for $300. Fucking stoked.

The other guys I'm playing with are like "that's shouldn't sound that good" I'm not using any pedals and just using the volume v. master volume for overdrive and it is like- AWESOME. I play a 92 SG with an aftermarket pickup in it

Currently selling an Epiphone LP and I keep getting the goofiest offers, "will you take 100 and a gold chain?"... "How about a power drill?"... "I got this BMX bike..." What the fuck makes people think this is acceptable? Just make a cash offer you bozos.

Ok all. If I’m just playing by myself and looking to get a shoegaze-y sound...do I need a cab and all that? Or can I get a cheap clean tone amp?
what are some good reverse delay and loop pedals?
Im thinking I want big muff. Idk if I want Ibanez tube scream or boss blues. I want a fuzz and a distortion. And a reverb and delay/reverse delay and a chorus pedal.
Whats a ballpark figure on all that?

Whatever is cheap for your average kitchen worker. I’d hope to get all set up with an amp and pedals for like...200 at most?

slowly save up to build a good quality setup. mine took years.

i only have my tele now which has a cool fat sounding pickup in it but it’s still distinctly single coil sounding. i need a humbucker guitar but i hate almost everything. what’s easy to find for like 300 bucks, plays easy, and does tha trick for heavy music? ill probably just swap out tha bridge humby for a jb. used to be able to find used agile lps for like 200 bucks but i don’t see shit at the moment. those are ok even though im not much of a gibby guy.
