We did our lottery for draft position today in my main league. I'm picking #5 in a 12-team league.

There seems to be a consensus top 4 RB's (Gurley/Zeke/Bell/Johnson) and then Antonio Brown as WR1.

I did my first mock today (picked AB), and I'm thinking that @ #5, if all 4 of those RB's are taken, I might reach for an RB over taking Brown. My reasoning is that the WR's are so deep. There are still starter options deep into like the 4th/5th round. Whereas there is a huge dropoff in round 2 for RB's it seems like.

But then I go back and forth and think, "Do I want the RB5 or the WR1 with my first pick?' and it seems like it should be a no-brainer to take the WR1.

Thoughts?

There are a couple late round guys I will target if I do this (Derrick Henry is going way later than he should, for example). But none are as "safe" I guess as taking the best available RB.

I'll probably end up going AB and then it be the first time in 5 or 6 years or however long its been where he isn't the best WR in football.

I never posted in the old thread for some reason but I'm looking forward to being more involved and getting some apinions in this one. I play in two 12 team leagues but I haven't even looked at any projections yet. I try not to bother until after the third week of preseason.
