Since the trial began more than two weeks ago, reporters in the courtroom have frequently spotted Trump with his eyes closed while sitting at the defendant’s table.
Trump had not addressed questions of whether he’s been sleeping until Thursday, when he posted about it during a lunch break in the trial:
“Contrary to the FAKE NEWS MEDIA, I don’t fall asleep during the Crooked D.A.’s Witch Hunt, especially not today. I simply close my beautiful blue eyes, sometimes, listen intensely, and take it ALL in!!!” Trump said.

I've really gotten to a point where I start to wonder what the ultimate goalposts are for this Trump thing.
Like, somebody posted earlier: Let's say he shits himself. Not just quietly, and the smell is noticed from staffers. I'm saying he shits on stage and it's visible through the ass of his pants, or he even comments on it.
How do his base and his militant followers react/excuse it away? Is it like a Billy Madison "all the cool kids pee their pants" thing and grown men in bedazzled butt pocket jeans and lifted trucks just start filling their pants in solidarity?
