Already pretty settled on getting fitted for a pair of Redwing Blacksmiths ASAP, but has anyone tried/bought their Chukkas? Until my tendonitis n shit is fully resolved, the only comfortable footwear for me is leather boots and I'm considering just saying "fuck it" and using my credit card to buy two pairs at once.

I never got my hands on a pair of OrSlow. I was really into sugar cane/mister freedom before I dipped out of that game.

I’d really look into getting a pair of Whites especially since you’re on the same coast. Wesco and nicks also. Essentially they’ll semi custom fit a last for your foot and build the shoe around that. In my personal apinion Whites Boots are probably the best out of the three big PNW shoe makers. They’re build quality is next level.

Eventually, I will for sure, just because I like the style enough that dropping that much money on a pair that’ll last forever makes sense. For now, they’re a bit out of my price range at 4-5x a pair of discounted Red Wings.

I also really want to try some left fields my left field work chinos are really really really nice.
I've tried on all the fits of Orslow at Blue on Green in NYC and they give you a horrible wedgie.

Banana Republic changed the name of their chino lines and you can still find the old named versions at a steep discount. Sizes are a bit odd (I got some in a 30" inseam because they were like $10, but I can't wear them with most fits cuz I'm 6')

The sateen is just really beautiful fabric. I had to stop myself from buying a second pair of 105s last week after seeing the one wash in person

If ya'll are looking for a nice pair of relaxed but not baggy denim I highly recommend 3Sixteen cs-100xk. Fit great and are really breaking in well.

how do the left field fit? I’m in between 33 & 34 but would probably go with 34. They shrink up at all in the wash?

I forget I get a discount at carhartt so I just grabbed a brown and black pair of regualr work pants.
Now I’m on The hunt for a chocolate and olive pair. I’ll probably fuck with Left field in the next month or two. Free note cloth is another brand I was really into, they have denim that’s indigo with a brown weft that I’m very interested in.

I can’t fathom just like not caring about what you wear lol it’s so important to me and I love showing off my personality/mood with a good fit!!!!
Like people who wear leggings and a tshirt every day. I’d be a much richer woman if I was like that though tbh lol

Took a break from shopping but now I’m on my shit fucking up my wallet on Ssense. Been rocking the Alexander McQueen boots lately. I spent too much on 550s 2021/22 so I’ve chilled on NB. The Adidas Forum 84s continue to be my favorite shoe.
I did snag the JJJJhound x Vans in green like two months ago. They’re cool but I was just sad that day and needed to make an expensive purchase. I wouldn’t have bought them otherwise.

Oh shit, pant talk. I’m huge on Evisu, especially their 2000-2007 designs. Their current selection is also great for the price. Japan Blue and SugarCane are also backed, especially if you like a more traditional fit instead of a baggy or loose fit. I pumped the brakes on buying Kapital new, but I’ll still snag a piece here and there on Grailed, especially for summer because they have great selection of fabrics other than denim. Their linen and cotton stuff is so comfortable and looks cool.
