I’ve been wearing a pair of vintage sateen military fatigues recently that I thrifted a few years ago, but couldn’t fit into until I lost weight recently. Easily the most comfortable fabric I’ve ever worn.
Also, thrifted a pair of Ralph Lauren Sportsman double front hunting trousers that I believe are vintage-ish, but haven’t done enough research to confirm.

Got some Arc’Teryx shorts for the summer. I probably could have saved money if I bought shorts at Columbia but then how will people know I’m cool and financially illiterate?

I’m looking for some fatigues, ideally olive/green. Anyone have recommendations. I need them in a fat boy size (36-38). I’m 6’4 so not a lot of Japanese shit fits me. Thanks kings.

Tellason makes a fatigue in sateen, though right now it seems they only have the slimmer cut in olive. 3sixteen if you want massive back pockets. Shockoe Atelier if you want them in tiger stripe.

I think Stan Ray was a decent brand that was fairly priced -- at least for a while. Maybe give them a shot. I think they have their own ecommerce site, but they also sell them at fashion forward sites too.

Is Nike ACG worth the price?

Not really, Nike QC has gone down drastically the past few years.
What is it you’re looking for out of them? Style or function?

Ideally both. I’m an outdoorsy type so I do put my shit through the wringer. They have some cool looking stuff but I guess I’m leaning more towards function than style.

Then I’d probably avoid Nike. Adidas has more functional offerings imo

Bought my first pair of Sambas in years, the last pair available in this colorway in any size, apparently. Might skate them if I'm not feeling them in hand, but they seem "charmingly ugly" and like a lot of old Spezials/other old Euro made Adidas stuff I have. www.adidas.com/us/samba-shoes/IG7600.html

Thinking about trying to repair the soles on my old sambas where the sole began to separate. They’re in, otherwise, still decent enough condition other than the sole coming off. Any recommendations for what kind of adhesive to reattach the sole?

Any recommendations for what kind of adhesive to reattach the sole? Barge cement. Follow the instructions. Weight heavily during the curing time. Its how climbing shoes are resoled and those see much more abuse than your average townie sidewalker will encounter
