I didn't even know there was an Irish hardcore scene. Only Irish band that I can remember was a band called Coldwar. I saw play a DIY gig at a failing Argentinian restaurant in HArtford CT around 2001. They kinda rocked though so I bought this CD Edit: I'm also comfortable saying that based on appearance alone, they could kick the living shit out of CMI without even putting down their beers |

This one time my brother and I were hammered drunk and stoned watching Cradle 2 The Grave and I said "damn Chum Lee is fucking tight" and it sent us off the edge laughing then the next day my brother photoshopped Chum onto the movie poster or C2TG and it still cracks me up every time I think of Jet Li, Chum Lee or that movie.

When a friend of mine wen't to Ireland in the late 2000s, he wen't to a record store and picked up a few releases based off recommendations. I can't exactly remember what the band sounds like, but I remember they used a sample from The Simpsons where this guy tells Lisa that "she is pretty hardcore."
