The closest Trader Joe’s is an hour away. I think I might be in one of those food desserts I keep hearing about. I’d really like to take the trip out there and ask one of those flirty cashiers out for crème brûlées.

The last time I wen't I got three things: Peri Peri sauce, Bomba Sauce, and Thai red curry sauce and the cashier said “Eh, feelin a little orange today, eh?” And she had a British accent and I didn’t know how to respond because yes I bought three bottles of different orange sauces, I was in shambles and said “I guess so!” 😭

None of the people who complimented my shirts and/or matched with me work at either of the nearby Trader Joe’s locations anymore. The thing that rocks about TJ’s is it can easily be my quickest trip. The store is small enough n organized enough that I can easily walk there, go in, walk out, n hop on the bus in 20-25 minutes. I’ve enjoyed wonderful beachside picnics on a Sunday afternoon thanks to Trader Joe’s and my city’s consistently improving bus service.
