under the hood, or suspension/axle? Under the hood. It was diagnosed and fixed by the dealer last time but I’ll have to dig through my messages to remember what it was. I wonder if it’s something I can fix at home- from what I remember it was just something that was loose You could just steal a Honda (no key required) |

A few weeks ago I realized my Honda was starting without the fob. Wtf is this about? Realized my backup fob was missing and located it under the seat. Problem solved. |

I never found it to be too difficult, but I've got a full garage. I would not want to do that parked out in the street or anything.

It’s not very complicated, but if something is done incorrectly… that control arm is connecting the wheel to the rest of your car. Let the professional handle this one. In the meantime, start learning more basic repairs and maintenance tasks and build up your skills, tools, and confidence. |

Okay so my coworker is like yo your cars tire looks crooked? And I’m like damn ur right.
I’m too scared to drive on it, so I take it across the street to Canadian Tire. And I KNOW you should never let Canadian tire do any auto body work. I KNOW. I was hoping it was just an alignment or something needed.
Anyways Canadian Tire tells me it’s almost $6000, that my car is unsafe to drive. I’m like oh hell no this car isn’t even WORTH 6k.
Have CAA tow it to my usual place. They call me. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with my car. The tires are angled on it and it might have just been how I parked or an illusion making it look like it was jutting out more. Insists my car is perfectly safe.
Thinking about going back and demanding my $80 back or idk maybe just burning the Canadian tire down or something.

Like to be fair the stuff they listed will probably need to be done (I’ll just drive it til it dies) but it’s not what I brought it in for, and where did they get the “unsafe to drive” part. That’s the part that I think is the most scammy. I think it was CBC took a BRAND NEW minivan and drove it across the country stopping at different auto shops and every single Canadian tire said it had work that needed to be done LOL |

When he checked it he was like “are the bolts even tight on here?” And I said “I sure hope so you guys are the ones who put the tires on” LOL bc I was desperate for new tires and needed a place close to work to do it

I told the guy at the shop “I think I need my control arm bushings replaced. I had this exact same problem a year ago and that’s what I needed” and he said “nah you probably just need your tires balanced if your car’s vibrating. I’ll get my guy on it. He’s my uncle.” Then he balanced all my shit or whatever, and I start driving it today and the vibrating’s even worse!!!!! What the fuck!
