Feeling the Little Angels and Citric Dummies releases today. Good looks these are great. And I like the Diztort LP. Doesn’t instantly grab me like “Hell Is” but I think it’s one of the better heavy hc records I’ve heard this year. It’s definitely pulling from a lot of the same stuff as Skourge which is a superior band imo. |

I don’t know if it’s a timing thing as well because the Skourge one came out earlier this year, but the Diztort LP is one step away from being “We got Torrential Torment at home”. I know both bands are mining the same influences and have toured together, but yeah, the title, the cover art, the music, most likely the lyrics as well… it’s all a bit too similar.

Gonna throw the Skourge record on again soon, but I listened to it a lot when it dropped. Most of the bands that play that style don’t have any songwriting chops and Skourge does.
