Integrity should have quit once the Melnicks left. Instead, Dwid has carried on with 40 different members, releasing subpar records and doing some embarrassing shit. Integrity now is as much of a brand as it is a band. This is a contender for the worst covers in the history of hardcore: Lmao...this sucks ass.

In Cold Blood first LP, H100s, 9 Shocks Terror… There’s a whole slew of Clevo releases that I’d listen to anytime anywhere. Shit, I rediscover at least one of em once a year.

The lp Dwid did with Dom was fantastic but everything I’ve heard after has been doodoo.

Rob Orr did some really cool stuff with Dwid but I would've loved if they would've had better recordings and other musicians as Orr recorded a lot of that stuff on his own. The split with Creepout and the Black Heksen Rise EP are pretty dang sick.

Integrity 2000 rules. Literally just written by the dudes from Mushroomhead. My old band used to cover Never Never.

The split with Creepout and the Black Heksen Rise EP are pretty dang sick. Yeah, I feel the same way. I know that dude posts here occasionally and I didn't want to speak out of turn/bum him out. The riffs are there but IMO Integrity isn't a lo-fi band and unless those songs come on randomly I'm probably not going to play them. Too bad because like you said Black Heksen Rise is pretty dang sick. The melody is catchy and I'm a fan of layered guitars, I just wish the production was a like 14% clearer so you can hear the intricacies or what have you.

first ringworm is fine but after that they wen't to complete shit. integrity is legitimately terrible and it'd be nice if mfs would finally stop acting like those generic third rate garbage bin metal riffs from the overrated melnick bros were anything of note. just listen to deicide. Wrong, Birth Is Pain is the best Ringworm album. Also Deicide rules but I fail to see the comparison.

Yeah but like by that same logic you could say don’t listen to Hatebreed listen to Suffocation instead, don’t listen to All Out War listen to Slayer instead. Integrity’s 90s output is like my fave hardcore ever so maybe I’m blinded by my own preferences or whatever. Hearing Those Who Fear Tomorrow was such an a-ha moment for me as a kid when I didn’t understand how hardcore wen't from Minor Threat to 00s chuggy metallic shit.

Ringworm consistently gets better with every album, integrity had plenty of banger albums, every Erba band rocks, live it down is sick, anointed is the definition of a fucking troll.

I forgot about midnight too. Chubby fresh and mean Steve are dipshits but crime ridden society is still a fucking classic. Claiming nothing good ever came out of clevo is some try hard edge lord shit.

ringworm are an embarrassment. they've been trying to desperately fit in with the metal scene for over twen'ty years and to no avail. now they're in the opening slot on every mediocre fest. hang it up.

Agreed on Satisfaction. I think it’s probably the best metallic HC album ever largely because the songs have no fat on them, and they’re done in 90 seconds/ 2 minutes tops. The main downfall for bands in that style is trying to write 3-4 minute long songs. I think Integrity gets away with it because there’s a fair amount of variation and they can lock into a mid tempo groove like on “Salvations Malevolence” which frankly I could listen to forever.

I see Anointed has taken the OLC's position of "Integrity? Fake metal childish warlocks. Ringworm? REAL METAL childish warlockS."

does anyone remember the thread on B9 started by some music composition nerd saying to die for is a perfectly composed record front to back and those who fear tomorrow and humanity is the devil are terribly written from a composition standpoint?
