let us not fall prey to the illusion that one person stating their preference of something means they're speaking for anyone but themselves
however, for every popular underground band, even a conservative active dislike of 10% (with an even more sizeable contingent of ambivalence) amounts to thousands of people
it's a very chalie take, claiming Board (or any analogous grouping) used to love a band and are now hating because it's cool or that someone in particular is trying to be edgy for some whimsical reasoning - LOTS of people posted 15 years ago and even then nothing was ever unanimous one way or the other (except maybe TUI), most people that didnt care then didnt care to post about it
less and the same posters may create a more personal & curmudgeonly environment but that still does not mean Board is a monolith
