That was a cool kick-off to the year because I saw 4 shows in the first 4 days of the year, and they were from 2 tours. The other being TUI/DTN/Cruel Hand/Forfeit/Naysayer, and I don't know if it was a full tour or just a weekend jaunt because they started it at that big Syracuse show that would happen every year on New Year's Day. But I saw the Long Island and Jersey dates. that Naysayer/DTN tour was soooo good |

Saw Uniform without ever hearing them recorded and was very impressed. Cool live sound and lots of energy.

the vocals are kind of funny to me recorded, but i can look past it in the live musical setting. actually they're pretty good

I wasn't a huge Uniform fan until I saw them live. I honestly really wish their records sounded like they do live. Maybe I was just completely captivated by how truly great of a performer Michael Berdan is and that influenced my ears but I swear they sound completely different live; like the vocals aren't mixed in prominently enough in their recordings and blend in with the noise a lot more.

I still have that Brain Killer shirt that the Chris from the Men is wearing in that photo I took. Of course, my belly sticks out when I wear it these days, but I loved that band.

Yeah this fucks. I still wish the vocal mixing was much more prominent and had more bite to it though. I think this about every single Uniform recording I've heard.
