Wish Initiate would have changed the vocals on the new record. They worked well with the faster songs they had on the EPβs. The new more post-hardcore sounding songs donβt sound good with those vocals. it'd be so good if she was just singing the whole time |

I really like this Poison Ruin record but it would be a lot cooler if it didnβt sound like it was played through a speaker muffled by a pillow

To me, these bands have less in common with Hatebreed and more in common with a band like Bolt Thrower or something. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but personally I can only stomach so much of it (while on the other hand I could listen to Satisfaction all day every day).

This is what hardcore is for me, the people in this band have been mainstays in Pittsburgh hardcore for 20 years. this style has been here and will continue to be here. |

Pick whichever band you want, I think stuff like this sounds closer to those early death metal bands that HC kids like and less like early Hatebreed. The tempo, the riffs, the breakdowns... if you don't hear it, then I don't know what to tell you. |
