Thanks guys, I listened to dead heat, take offense, pest control and living in fear.
The first two are my favourites, especially Dead Heat, it's really what I'm looking for in a crossover, not sure about calling that FUN but maybe it is.

I think I get what you mean for Dead Heat, it's somehow a touch lighter than some of the other bands, especially on that first LP at least.
And of course we forgot Foreseen, I know they're not new new per say but their last LP is their best so far so def worth adding to the list.
Weight from Norway has that Killing Time meets Nuclear Assault vibe as well, their LP Violence Of The Divine is a proper grower and especially the 4 tracks on side-B are great:
Skourge, Ekulu, Mindforce, New World Man, true you can have all of these under the "Crossover" umbrella and it's all good. The Skourge is definitely a contender for AOTY 2023. Haven't listened to the latest New World Man EP but I really liked the demo, it had some sci-fi Voivod-type riffs on a couple tracks that were jamming.
