Heโs playing, she wrapped her wrists around his ankle and starts pulling him off stage (you can see him start to go too) and he starts hitting her until she lets go and then he stops. So like itโs not great he hit her but like she tried to pull him off stage. There was really no other way to get her to stop, thereโs a loud ass band playing, he canโt politely ask her to let go of him.

If someone was grabbing me like that and I couldn't immediately shake them off, I'd probably have a mini panic attack from claustrophobia or whatever (being restrained is anxiety-inducing) and kick them in the face as well. You're in the front row at a hardcore show, The whole reason horseshoe crowds exist is because that is explicitly the danger zone.
The singer from Reckless wailed on my friends face at Anchors Up one time while they were playing for no reason at all. My friend was like 17 at the time. No one gave a fuck. The danger is what drew us in.

The vid reminded me of that asshole that pulled Seb from Regulate off the stage while he was recovering form some injury (torn acl?). Fuck that shit. If you go to a hardcore show, and you stand up front, expect to get hit -- it's a strong possibility. If you put your hands on a member of the band, it's damn near certain that you're going to get hit. Also, her face was right next to his foot. What was he supposed to do? |
