I've been seeing less independent ice cream trucks and more of these blatant Pete & Pete rip offs in my area.   I thrifted a Mister Softee shirt years ago. I should find it an wear it. |

Used to be choco taco’s until they were taken from us. Now probably a chipwich havent been to an ice cream truck since they took the CT from the American people. I don’t even know what I’d do now |

all the ice cream trucks i see around town these days are fucked up and scary looking. was ice cream truck always a sketchy guy job or is that a recent development?

When I was in middle school the ice cream truck was run by a nice middle aged Mexican couple. They were way too sweet and would give kids ice cream even if they had no money and would say “you can just pay us tomorrow it’s fine!”
I owe them so much money

the ice cream truck came down my street like twice this year, and hasn't been back since.
total bummer though, because i'd definitely get a large swirl dipped cone.

Depends on the weather. If it’s hot and humid, I’m going for something like a bomb pop. If it’s a more mild summer day I’ll probably go for a chipwich or a snickers ice cream bar. Choco tacos used to be a favorite, RIP.

i wen't to a training for work where they said several years ago they had a major problem with ice cream trucks selling the "5 dollar hook up" in the poor neighborhoods. Rose with the glass vile tip, lighter, and a steel wool scrubber. now we barely have any in the city. i just want delicious icy creams.
