The Life Cycle of an Oldhead 1. Get older 2. Declare the current kids are nowhere near as tough, cool, or physical as your generation and say hardcore is dead 3. Have children 4. Force hardcore on your children because you are too emotionally / culturally stunted to do literally anything else 5. Declare hardcore is amazing and the best its ever been 6. Current kids hate themselves for ever being involved with someone so embarrassing in the first place Just show your kids Frozen 2 and stay home for everyone's sakes. Good grief.  |

Dude who ran the all ages venue here took his toddler to the gig with big ass hearing protection headphones on. Honestly, if it comes down to being a poser or hauling your kid to the gig, what are you going to do? Kid in the back with ear pro doesn’t affect anyone. Dude forcing his kid on you so you have to play along is an egregious violation of the social contract. |
