it got delayed til october, false alarm throwdemguz said it somewhere but even though i have liked a couple of the singles, i have low expectations for this record (having loved both of the last ones) Speed Kills is a modern classic and the next LP is great too. The singles they’ve released over the last few years have been pretty underwhelming and the songs from the new album I’ve heard are either like a ballad or some shit that sounds like post 2000s Dropkick Murphys. Also the band used to be members of all the best UKHC bands of the last few years and now I have no idea who’s in it. I find this dudes vibe a little off putting tbh, like a classic case of someone breaking edge and getting really into being a “rocker” or whatever and starting doing blow in your 30s. |

So glad I got to see them twice in 2020 on their first US run. Show at the Broadway with Royal Hounds was an all timer.
