to some posters dismay, i will never get tired of seeing ceremony last time i wen't to see them was in 2019 and choir boy opened and was wayyyyy better and i didnβt even end up staying for ceremonyβs entire set even though they were the band i specifically wen't to see and was excited for it π€·π»ββοΈ |

Barricades suck at any show but goes double for hardcore, sucks most of the spirit out of it.

Hell I don't even feel comfortable with hardcore shows being at 1000 cap venues. once it gets to a certain size you might be watching a hardcore band, but you're not experiencing what hardcore really is. I really miss DIY spaces

I like it. I like it a lot. Everywhere Is Bad is probably my fave track on first listen. I'm gonna have to listen to it again obviously, but it is pretty conventional for a PJ album I will say. Anti Sapio sounded like a straight up Oil song. |

They sound beefier than the bands that inspired them. I also like that it's a little sloppy. I dunno, man. I'm just tryna have a good time. I was also going to throw in an Articles of Faith or Jones Very comparison, but decided not to, and then the last song ends up being an Articles of Faith cover. |

New Ceramik album is cool. 8 songs in like 10 minutes, here's the shortest one. Ventura County Hardcore is only getting sicker and will exist until the end of time  I liked Instructor's album Terror Zone a lot, and from this promo it sounds like they're getting even better. I had been trying to think of who the vocalist reminds me of, and I just realized I get kinda a Human Furnace (The Promise era) vibe from him, like a Belgian Human Furnace. The promo ends with a pretty cool Discharge cover, and a sick reworking of ABH's classic "Don't Mess with the Sas". |
