I swear it was like 2014 when all these broads started wearing korn and slipknot oversized tees to shows and dudes being cavemen hard-rockers instantly started listening to nu-metal to score points. It seemed to parallel wrestlings revival too in the mainstream. I could have done without either TBH.

I definitely first heard of Hatebreed, Snapcase, Earth Crisis and Hope Con from kids that loved nu-metal. Those guys I think became Juggalos though. My pipeline to hardcore was mostly Epitaph/Fat/Jade Tree and downloading first wave shit. |
