I just want to state there are no catchy singles on this new Cure record but that doesn't stop it from being an absolute journey through 49 minutes. I listened to it three times already and I would like to say this is their best work since 1992's Wish.

Also new record is not pop at all so it’s a confusing take. Laura is asking for the Cure to make their pop songs again I'm saying Robert Smith is like pushing 70 and I don't need pop music from AARP recipients. The sad crush we got instead of pop is much preferred. |

Before Jon and Dylan joined Vacation we stayed with Dylan/Aaron on tour and I've always been fascinated by Dylan's brain. He is truly an echelon above a lot of people I've met in DIY in terms of artistic vision/focus.
