Anyone gonna be in Japan for NWN fest? Im gonna try to go to a BJW show on 4/1 and Freedoms 4/3 in Tokyo. JOIN I am not but speaking of NWN a friend of mine just turned me onto the Antichrist record that took 16 years to mix lol. Itβs way better than the Blasphemy lp! antichrist eh? |

What was it? it was tl;dr so I'm going to try to summarize it : He was out eating with his wife and got "invited" to a skybox by a friend of hers thinking no one would see him. He said he didn't want to goΒ. Fans spotted him and he took about 200 pictures. He bounced after an hour and a half and ended his story with oh yeah, my contract is up in a month, forgot about that. |

So I took a trip to Piledriver Harajuku today while in Tokyo to pick up a shirt for a friend of mine. Weirdest place - it's in the basement of what appears to be just an office building in the middle of Harajuku? It's across the street from people shopping for like Arcteryx and Marc Jacobs and shit. We go down and its just this empty quiet ass hallway with two stores open - Piledriver and another wrestling merch store across the hall - and a couple of vending machines; nothing else was open. I walk in and of all people Hiroyo Matsumoto is working the register. Bought my friends shirt and Minoru Suzuki walks in, says hi and shakes the hands of my friends (who know nothing about pro wrestling) and I. Ended up getting a mark pic with him after one of the other employees asked if we wanted a pic while we were eating ice cream by the vending machines across the hall. Someone was blasting Taylor Swift around the corner in that basement. Really weird experience. |
