Bray was booked like shit and that's what killed his character. He wasn't the best wrestler but still put on some good matches. I wasn't a fan of his long promos but liked the mystery of all the little hints and easter eggs even though he pulled and copied some stuff from various sources (which can seem like it would have been cool, but he seemed to be a fan of very mainstream stuff). I thought all his riddles got old real quick. That last run was just bizzare. Fucking Mountain Dew match. I want to watch the documentary, although Iβm sure it is just brutally sad. It wouldβve been cool if they would cover where exactly all the whole uncle howdy story was headed. Also both code orange Wyatt tracks were sick |

They gave him an undertaker like gimmick but had him lose all the time so everything he said was feckless and silly. The only reason the undertaker worked was cause he seldom lost and no sold shit so everything seemed super powerful. Yeah the booking on Bray was horrendous. Lost every big match he had. There was probably a shelf life on that Swamp Cult leader gimmick but it was unique in an era of WWE where pretty much nothing was and it could have gone on a hell of a lot longer if they put him over Cena or Orton or whoever the fuck. |

He should have beaten Cena at WM30. The fact that they relitigated it during the firefly funhouse match confirms even cena knew that.

I remember he had a match w Ryback at like Payback 2015 or some shit that I enjoyed. Did a big senton off the apron to the floor that apparently broke Rybacks ribs, looked cool as fuck

In hindsight, as an extreme WWE casual, all i remember is the Rumble match with Bryan.
I feel like there was a great SHIELD vs Wyatt's tag around then too, yeah?

He was booked like almost every monster heel in the history of the company he beats everyone on the way up then loses to the top guy on a big show thereβs no way he shouldβve beat Cena at wrestlemania lol he could be carried to have good matches and lean on the character stuff but when he started getting input and doing only the worst gimmick matches at the beginning of feuds it fell apart. He was a heat killer for most of his career.

Bryan vs Archer was cool. I never ever get sick of seeing him chopping big guys down and getting killed in one hit. He does big man little man matches better than anyone. Danielson vs Taue woulda kicked ass
