Didn’t hear about rock blaming woke culture for his crappy movies, what exactly did he say?
I watched the first night of mania for shits and outside of Sami/walter that shit was a snooze. Didn’t see night 2 but cool Cody gets his already forgettable title run. New era about to be so sick.
Wish I could be stoked on wrestling again on some sort of regular basis.

He did do an interview on Fox News recently stating he wouldn't endorse Biden, basically implied that Biden's tenure as President has created division in the country and how he doesn't like it and going on about how he hates Cancel Culture and Woke Culture for perpetuating that division. Nothin to do with his movies outright but I think the comment was just meant to be cheeky. |

Did people actually mind that he was playing an Egyptian god? Seems like no one saw it because it’s a character most aren’t familiar with, DCU stinks anyways, and everyone that saw the movie said it sucked. Between that, new Japan and nxt at the time, I was really enjoying wrestling for a solid few years there. No American wrestling company in the last 10-15 years has been anywhere close to as consistently enjoyable as LU was. I miss it every day. |

i dont think i watched the last 1 or two seasons of LU but it was great while it lasted. a perfect platform at the time to showcase all the up and coming lucha and PWG guys on a "bigger" stage.
