I thought End Note was kind of a turd, frankly. It's still good but it's definitely their weakest output. I think it's just kind of a dud because of the recording. The demo version of it was so much better. Where these demos at?

I remember the version of "Fallen" that came out before End Note was released being super badass. The production was raw as fuck sounding.

I lost them in a hard drive failure and have never been able to track them down again. Like taylorm said, it was fucking great. It was only a few songs that got released with "Fallen" being one and I think "Defiant Hearts" being another.

The demo version didn't have the "Falling Down" soundclip either, did it? I can't remember which version had it. I haven't listened to End Note in probably 12 years.

I'm almost positive it did not have the sound clip in it.

Welp, off to Soulseek for an inevitable failed search! Can't believe I never got to hear those.

I failed. I'll ask a buddy of mine who still has a bunch of his old music hard drives.

The Converge,Hope Conspiracy and American Nightmare show I saw is still one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Every time I saw them they killed it. Love that band.

I can't remember who played for opening spot for the Chicago date. I'll have to post a picture of it when I get back into town. Best fucking band. Would moosh so fucking hard if they did a reunion.

12/10 at Chain Reaction. I remember everyone having those stupid Derek Hess album covers/T-shirt’s/posters for awhile.

No joke, I have a "STRHESS" hoodie in a box somewhere in my backroom. My old bassist filled in for a metric fuck-ton of those terrible early-to-mid 00's "post-hardcore" Thrice wannabe bands and got briefly "sponsored" by Strhess as a result. He visited and gave me the hoodie, which promptly got shoved into a closet and has never so much as been tried on.
I'll try and find it in the morning. It's dumb looking as hell if I remember correctly.

I’ll never understand how his art was like the standard of the metal/hardcore scene for albums/shirts for a few years. So generic...

Top five hardcore band of all time. Bummed I'll never see them live, but seeing APMD recently was a good settlement.
I'll be the minority and say, like Shai Hulud and TWBIT, Hope Con's best stuff started at Endnote, and Code Blue is good, but not as good.

Was lucky enough to see em on ^ that tour and they fucking RIPPED. Saw em again with Poison The Well and a giant brawl broke out when this random shithead smoked one of the guitar players from PTW and the singer from Hope Con was the first one up there and destroyed the dude. It was absolutely insane. Ol boy got handled.
