You could've just whipped the oil into a wax over med heat using the same Pyrex you poured into. Easiest way to completely purge the butane without a pump/vacuum oven. Your method is way more punk tho.

Honestly too, I have smoked the blasted dense nuggs of fat buds before with said friend and it is like tearing your throat up for the high of smoking resin. Nasty and hurts. Not worth it. Obviously, though.

A guy I met in school that wore a slipknot beanie every day once told me that resin is the tax return of smoking dense nuggs of fat buds. If you look at it that way, scraping resin is really smart and normal.

I did used to make bho with friends when i was 14. I had a friend that would smoke the dense nuggs of fat buds that was blasted - which is fucking horrible

 I think it's very dangerous especially for your younger people who are experimenting and uninformed about what they are vaping and how strong the substance could be.
 I also used to make bho wax by recipe with my frinds when I was 20 or so. Luckily, without any dangerous side effects
