Could be? I forget the order as well. I haven't watched them yet, but they have been doing panels at Lincoln Center for each episode. Here's a link. The one for the last episode isn't up yet, but it was filmed last week, so it will be up sooner than later. Also: I agree about Abishir and the house. That interaction was so uncomfortable and I wasn't sure what they were trying to say/do with that. I think it was that Whitney wanted so bad to be the white savior and Abshir being totally ungrateful is the complete opposite reaction of what she wanted. It was funny to take to the wind out of her sails but they kind of ruin Abshir's character in doing so. Just finished this last night and I read a synopsis that Whitney and Asher are essentially sitcom characters dropped into real life, and their attempts to make TV magic in real life are always doomed to backfire because life is not like TV. In real life it seems like it would be cool to be gifted a house, but there are logistical challenges a poor renter squatting in an abandoned house now has to face because of that gift. Him asking about the taxes was pragmatic, and I've always wondered how these extreme home makeover folks who are poor as dirt afford the taxes on their now massively inflated properties after the camera crews leave. Same thing with the artist. She knows Whitney is a fraud, but her exploitation of their fake friendship is pragmatic.
Also, sitcom characters don't say anything that doesn't have relevance to the show or the script. Everything they say comes back in one way or another because it's scripted that way. Asher and Whitney had turned their entire life into a sitcom, and things like curses, or Asher saying something to the effect of "if you didn't need me, I'd disappear" have consequences. She doesn't need him, so he disappears, plucked out of the scene by an omniscient narrator/script writer.

Yeah the shit about property taxes is a legit concern. I just read that in the case of the extreme home makeover show, the production signs a lease to rent the property from the owner. Apparently property owners don't have to pay taxes for increases in property value done by tenants.

The Sympathizer should be dope. The book is great and Park Chan Wook is directing along with Fernando Meirelles (City of God/Constant Gardener) directing a couple episodes. Park Chan Wooks last mini-series Little Drummer Girl might be in my top 5 TV shows of the past 10 years.

damn that new Curb lmao. It's not gonna match peak curb era, the 1st episode was kinda meh (Larry raging at Siri felt a little dated) but the second episode ruled. Lawn Giuliani lmao

When it first showed the jockey I was wondering if it was supposed to be him, and then once they did the face paint and it started running I lost it.

It’s insane that it’s on “prestige television” . It reminds me of when they greenlit The Return lol

what was the point of the scientists looking so terrified, gnawing at their bodies, and their ruptured ear drums to imply they definitely didn't freeze to death, have a vet come in to be like "these men definitely didn't freeze to death" only for the cleaning lady's lynch mob to be like "those men definitely froze to death"

It would be better than Wind River for blue hairs and cucks.
After 6 hours of a cultist scientist, a literal demon in e3, other ghosts, a crooked cop, and an evil mining corporation… it was the fucking cleaning lady and a femme lynch mob.

"congrats on tarnishing a series" Like, I'm not really a fan of this season, but let's not pretend people haven't been talking massive amounts of shit on TD since the end of season 1.
