I also forgot what day it was. We got into Gastonia and I said fuck it, Iβm not driving any further. Grimm jumped out of my wifeβs lap over to me, knocking over a slushy so I had to go into Circle K and change in the bathroom. Found a nice local establishment that was wings/ribs/fried catfish/cheesesteaks, but with the twist that the sides could be fried rice or dumplings. No attempt at making the main dishes even slightly Asian whatsoever which I sort of respect.

Last night I discovered the place I get tacos from, even though I think they're a little too expensive are actually reasonably priced because every time I order I select +chicken ($6.00) thinking that means add meat for an extra $6 was how you order them when all this time I had been requesting EXTRA chicken for $6 and the tacos come with a normal amount of chicken for $9 instead of $15. I am real dumb

This new cafe opened up and they are charging $9 for an egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit or Kaiser roll. This seems outrageous to me. Itβs $11 of you want bacon.

there are two different bodegas in my overpriced neighborhood where you can get a BE&C on a bagel with a coffee for less than $6. $9 for a kaiser roll is insanity.
