Not exactly. Oklahoma had/still honestly has some archaic liquor laws. 'strong' beer aka not 3.2% oklahoma domestic beer was not allowed to be sold refrigerated until a couple of legislations passed last year, as of October 1 this year we can sell strong beer cold in liquor stores, in gas stations, and wine in gas stations/grocery stores.
Liquor stores were all given a year to save up for coolers.

I anticipate that within the next few years, there will actually be good craft beer selections at more grocery stores. Walmart has a ton of local ones already. Whole Foods actually has a better craft beer selection now than the shitty vietnamese liquor store down the street from my apartment.

Most of them here are either vietnamese or pakistani. The biggest liquor store in OKC is called Byron's and it's enormous. it's bigger than a WalMart Neighborhood Market  there's no real good image but that kinda shows how many aisles. |

Most of their business is either bums buying night train and mad dog or bar managers back filling their bars in between liquor rep shipments. I've heard whispers from bartenders that they have ABLE (our bar commission/legislation) in their pockets.
