I took my kids to the weezer blue album tour last night and it was about as meh as you can imagine BUT they did do a little Pinkerton mini set and played You Gave Your Love To Me Softly which I never thought I would see live and they actually ripped through it hard as hell. Very pleasantly surprised moment

How many times did they play the buddy holly riff lol it is funny you say that because -when they played it initially during the solo the crowd popped off which was both annoying but also kind of funny -the motherfucker added it into the solo at the end of Only In Dreams which actually annoyed the fuck outta me bc that is a good song and one of the few songs I was enjoying during the show and it totally was just stupid tiktok fan service that tainted it haha |
