i dont know how brides and grooms get so up their ass about like expecting everyone to be fully 100% invested in THEIR wedding. like lets make this as painful and draining as possible for our friends and families, thatll be super fun everyone will have a great time

i have a long time hard rocker associate and knew that mf wasn't my friend when his now wife invited my now ex, no +1, and no invite for me
which is fine because i hate weddings anyway but 20 years into rocking i'm also so over the "no these are just people i share an interest with, not friends" convo with everyone who asks

a friend did just drop in just now tho because i'm helping her with a present for her bf and instantly was amazed by how neat and tidy my place is looking tho so at least i got a clean apartment going for me

might be going to look at a used car tomorrow, trading in my current car. any y'all have any tried & true methods to get the best deal, or should I just browse reddit? get the carfax report. do not buy a car that has been in an accident no matter how good the deal is. aim to buy at the end of the month because salesmen need to hit quotas and they will be looking to move. make sure to research the car and know what the market value is. if you can, buy straight cash. if you can't, get a loan from your bank or credit union because it'll have better rates than what the dealership is offering. in general, buy Japanese or Korean. never be afraid to walk away when negotiating and make sure they give you every penny for your trade in. if they start talking about extended warranties or tire changes or addons, see what you can get for free and take it, otherwise its just extra profit for them. universally, every car dealership is owned and run by Trump supporters. never feel bad about treating them like shit or screwing them over. i got so lucky cause i found my current car at a ford dealer and even though its a VW with 100k miles on it they offered me a 3 year 36k full powertrain certified ford warranty on it for less than $2k. and i had already haggled the price down that much anyway. no brainer |

Tomorrow - Getting new tires on my car, going on a hike with step kid for her girl scout badge, having my annual halloween party.
