i guess friendsgivings are essentially potlucks, but I also loathe potlucks.
Just eating with a ton of people makes me anxious. Mainly cause I grew up with a dumb palate, and having to pick/choose what I would be eating would be a nightmare and just lead to a litany of questions about why I eat like a dumbass.

me and my suburban white family are going to a steakhouse for thanksgiving and it is going to be lit. miss me with relatives, miss me with turkey and stuffing, get @ me with enough red meat to make my blood pressure go through the roof

I got my cousin's for thanksgiving like every year but then I get ball at my best friend's place. Might take off Black Friday because I have holiday time I need to use before year's end. If only RSD Black Friday had better releases besides Bloody Kisses 25th anniversary

we used to have some wild ass friendsgivings when i lived in VA. those are way more fun when half your friends work in breweries and the other half are drug addled kitchen staff. we used to get like 40-60 people at those before everyone kind of grew out of it.
