i was just thinking today, remember when you could only get netflix through the mail? shit took me like a year to get through Lost. yeah, i had the 2dvd a day plan. I would run home on my lunch break to grab the DVD, take it to work and rip it, then send it back in the evening. I have so many movies on an external HD somewhere. |

I have a Capital One card too I need to dump that o-count anyway I don't use it anymore dont cancel your card, that'll hurt your credit. instead i recommend the steps i listed above and also sock your card away in a drawer and set a yearly reminder to buy a pack of gum or something just to retain the increase your debt/credit limit ratio. plus your credit score will continue to go up. |

the first couple seasons of LOST were incredible. it all got fucked up though when they started time traveling and the last year where it was like "what if these people did these things instead? eh? eh?"
Season 3 was on when I was at college living in a dorm. We all moved into the dorm in like August or September and we all quickly watched the first two seasons on DVD so we would be caught up to watch season 3 live and we would throw crazy parties for them and anytime something wild would happen it would be legitimately like a gang of us all going NOOOOO FUCK OMG JACK NOOO. When the season 3 opener began and it showed the book club happening before revealing that it is on the island and they watch the plane go down we were legitimately doing cartwheels down the halls going crazy like WTF THERE IS A CIVILIZED GROUP OF PEOPLE OUT THERE?? I think almost three fistfights broke out during that year over serious debates about who was the hottest girl on that island

I loved Lost from start to finish. I Know that's not a popular apinion but that was appointment tv for me every single week that was also appointment tv for me, no doubt. Even though I thought the last two seasons sucked story-wise I still never missed it and at the very least thought it was still well done tv just doing shit i didnt agree with. I still think overall the good outweighed the bad and that the journey was more fun than caring about the destination. The two craziest moments still me was the introduction of Desmond and realizing he is inside the hatch at the end of the intro and the final episode of season 3 when you think it is a flashback about jack being a drunk and then at the very end when he meets with kate and does the infamous "WE HAVE TO GO BACK!" speech and you realize it was a flash forward. I honestly thought my eyes were gonna bleed |
