Every January I take a week long vacation and use all my sick time lol

Our shit refills on Jan 1, and rolls over up to like 240 hours. I don't burn it unless I need to.
I have so much PTO to use at my disposal at this job and I used to burn through that shit by like April at Dell.

The only time I've not worked because I was sick in the past 10 years was when I had COVID in 2021 because it didn't count towards PTO
Otherwise, I just work from home and deal with it
Not gonna waste days off feeling like shit

Our sick time pays for health insurance when we retire so I plan on retiring with my capped 1400 hours. Fingers crossed
