I generally order pancakes over waffles but I have nothing against waffles. Just had some peaches and cream waffles Saturday that were amazing

I like that waffles retain more of the syrup and spill less. I don't think french toast clears either waffles or pancakes for me personally, HOWEVER, the best breakfast meal I ever had with my wife since I lived here was this lemon curd stuffed french toast

I'm on a big french toast kick myself. I like to make them at home, I toast the bread and in a bowl I mix eggs, sugar, cinnamon, when the bread is lightly toasted I'll dip it in the batter and then cover the toast in cornflake crumbs before I throw it on the grill. I keep the topping simple, just some maple syrup and maybe some strawberries.

I gotta up my french toast game man, I don't think I've ever nailed it. I fw a waffle for sure, but I think that lil transitional point between crispy and soggy pancakes is just soooo good

I am in serious need of a vacation. I want to sleep in and each brunch and do nothing or everything (fun).
I’ve had to do a crapton of zoom presentations/webinars for several weeks straight and I’m tired of being “on.” My face during presentations 😁 My face inside/afterwards 😒 I just want to crawl in a hole.
Also super stoked to notice after a presentation with some folks at Harvard that I had lip stain on my teeth and a section of hair sticking up out the back of my head 👍
