We audited my sales today, just 90 days back, not the whole fiscal year. We decided to do the smallest figure first, which was the email newsletter, and since July I brought in $65k in sales through emails alone. It got very uncomfortable for me to actually visualize how much money Iβm bringing in because all I can think about is how broke I am these days.
Ended up putting in my 30 days notice on the spot and my boss called me childish for it, but ngl I was hurt because I brought in my yearly celery in 90 days from fucking emails, Instagram stories and tiktok sales dwarf the email numbers and these fuckers canβt pay me more? I follow the owner on our company social media, I see his IG stories and heβs been hanging out in yachts off the Bay Area all summer long, pretty sure he could toss another $20k my way and he wouldnβt even notice it. I donβt have a job lined up and idgaf, Iβm not gunna sit there and get paid peanuts for the amount I bring in, and tbh even if they offered me a raise tomorrow, I wouldnβt accept it. Theyβve known how much I make them and theyβve deliberately kept me from seeing those numbers.
Jokes on them, I spend most of my work day posting on board, hitting the pen in my car, and playing on my steam deck. I could have been bringing in even more money if they just paid me accordingly and given me the resources to implement my strategy.
