We had an all staff meeting and our CIO said someone approached him asking why some people take hour lunches even though we're only technically given 30 minutes. So he says we have to go by the manual and take our 30 minutes and not abuse it.

I am the only IT guy here most of the time (that's why I got a promotion) so I be taking my lunch as long as I feel like. Usually I'm under an hour but sometimes I need to run an errand and you can't do shit about it.

I try and stick to an hour but dudes with kids be taking off randomly throughout the entire day so when I do go over I don't give a fuck. or like today when I said "gotta step away for a few" and wen't to the grocery store and pharmacy

If we feel like taking more than an hour we schedule a meeting either before or after lunch so it looks like we're busy doing something. I have one of those scheduled for Thursday to go over Microsoft Azure invoicing from 11-12

Iβm working with a tax lawyer right now and we are transferring a bunch of property into a persons name and then back into the LLCs for reasons above my tax bracket but they fucked up the recording order and think we can just record other deeds over top. Thatβs not how it works bud. The deed you are now trying to record does not technically own the property anymore.

mentioned it to erik and pat but zipair has a unofficial flash sale for toyko the day after thanksgiving and i may pull the trigger to go for 5 days. got hotel covered with my IHG card. would just bring a big backpack and minimal clothes
