i have chase united but the problem is, you need like a billion points now for anything and also you canβt use points for united packages which is what i always end up booking cause theyβre always absurdly cheap and somehow cheaper for hotel+flight than just flight alone? Not entirely true. Direct flight to Narita from LAX is 55k points or 35k points rn bc there's a savers sale. A few years ago you would have been able to get a 1 way biz for 80k points which was wild yeah i only have 31k points lol and buying points is crazy expensive and they used to let you send points to people for free and now they charge you for doing it. either way, the packages part is still true. which i love, but sucks they wonβt let you use points on it |

I think Tales of Interest is better than 80/20, but I think 80/20 was mostly good. there are a few skips.
