havenβt had firehouse but whomever makes a good eyetalian, Iβm there. So far it was this random deli in bumfuck CT. firehouse is mid but they used to have those racks of different hot sauce. No idea if that survived Covid but it made the experience. Also not a hot take but Jersey Mikes is above the chain stigma. #9 mikes way is my shit. |

Jersey Mike's has legit good bread. JJ's and Firehouse just has a blanket of onion taste on everything they make. Subway sucks, but they've saved my ass many times when i'm working in the boonies and have no plant based options.

Jersey Mikeβs eyetalian sub is legitimately better than most of the local sub spots closest to me. Sad, but true.
Firehouse puts Virginia honey ham on their eyetalian sub here (not sure if they do that everywhere) which makes it oddly sweet and not good.
Might have to get JM for lunch today.

Kid and I wen't to a really cool arcade over the weekend. You just pay $10 and you can play all the games all day and pinball is .50 cents each. They had 75 pinball games, all the classics and a couple really cool interactive new Japanese games that are allegedly hard to find. Also have a bar inside. It was fun.

I'm a little annoyed my bar manager decided Zombie Prom should be the Halloween theme because no one gives a flying fugg about decorating so why choose something that requires a ton of work? Should have just stuck with the classic Halloween party and put some black lights on and called it good.

gm, had a total fuckoff day yesterday where i wanted nothing to do with anyone at all how was the pelly experience? going to try and do the ride tonight if im not exhausted. it was pretty fun doing it in person, had a good time at the studio. the ride itself was very hard lol. the machines in studio have a much more limited interface, so i couldnt see my zones at all and when i was checking my output in real time i was like constnatly in zone 6+ the whole ride so i was huffing and puffing bc i couldnt pace myself properly. i got 5th overall out of 40 in studio tho so thats wassup. im third on the left from cody within frame of the camera |

Had my fatherβs funeral yesterday and then got to celebrate a browns win like immediately after with all my Cleveland family. He wouldβve loved to watch the browns beat the ravens. Weird Sunday.
