I wish the DOM record sounded more raw or something. Something about it doesn't connect with me at all. i like it but i do agree that the production is too clean. not really a deterrent for me though. funny that ya'll say that because i'm over here wishing it sounded a lil bigger + more polished than it does, the guitar sounds especially |

not feeling the new swans. lots of cool ideas but it's very awkward. their transition records tend to have some clumsy elements so if there's a follow up to this perhaps that will be more cohesive.
those 2 newer bloodlet songs are kinda cool. it's like a slightly slicker cattlepress.

Finally spending some time with this Somos album and it's fucking great. Loving the synth lines and melodies. I just keep playing it over and over.
