lol Alexis lalas sucks but him describing his 94 team successful is a stretch. legit thought i misheard that. the usa finished 3rd in their group at 1994, beating only colombia (who spectacularly had an og by someone later shot for it). they lost in the round of 16 to brazil. the us personally scored 2 goals in 4 games. england, denmark, france, portugal did not qualify for 1994 so the competition was def not great. |

Gakpo is such a different player for the Netherlands, it's so annoying. Liverpool need to play him on the left because he thrives in that position. We’ve definitely seen glimpses of his quality during his time at Liverpool, but I can’t be sure if the problem is just down to Klopp and Pep playing him out of position or if he’s just a player that blows hot and cold. Personally, I’d like to see Diaz get sold and bring in Anthony Gordon and let him and Gakpo battle it out for that position. |

The goal Gakpo scored against United in the 7-0 is very reminiscent to the goal he scored today. Coming down the left hand side, cutting in and blasting a shot. I agree that he can be hot and cold but i feel like that could change if he played full time out wide. He hasn't been able to fill that false 9 role that Firmino perfected.
Also, I'd love Gordon. Kid has all the tools. Diaz's Dad for the past 6 months has stated numerous times that Luis would love to play for Barca at some point. He really hasn't kicked on from that first 6 months here. He's shown flashes but the injuries I feel have hampered him. He used to love to take defenders 1 on 1 but hasn't really done that lately.
