deleted the apps. might go back to meeting people the old fashioned way aka reactivating instagram and twitter and posting thirst traps
going on a date tonight with the previous hook-up i wen't for thai food with a little while back.
got a date tomorrow with someone who seems pretty forward with their intentions, and as an added bonus is the extremely hot ex of someone i hate, so that'll be funny if nothing else. they're not really my type (she's got big "i listen to lana del rey as a personality" energy) but seems nice enough and i'm trying to keep an open mind in case there is something more there.
as for my ex, hadn't talked to her since i broke it off back in april. she would keep texting me every couple of days checking in with the standard "miss you, i'm doing awful, thought about you on my drive, thinking about the flowers you used to send me, they were without question the most beautiful flowers i've ever received" stuff. it was really hurting me. about a week ago, i mailed her back a bunch of her stuff she left at my place (some of it was her dead father's, and i would feel bad holding onto it or tossing it). i had intended on just staying silent and not bothering, but i put a letter in the package just kind of saying "hey you treated me shitty, maybe cruel" and "glad to hear they were the most beautiful flowers you've ever received, if they're the last ones". haven't heard anything since, so i guess that's that.
