Chalie I don’t think you should continue talking to her. It seems like she’s interested in a friendship. People have different expectations for their friendships and it sounds like she’s content to keep it in text conversations or in group settings. Since she has a boyfriend, this boundary is likely out of respect for him. There would be nothing wrong with continuing this, except for the fact that you are romantically interested in her. I don’t think it’s fair to call yourself a friend to someone if you would try to pork them the second they become single. You’re better off finding someone who is also seeking a romantic partner to save them and yourself from a complicated situation I believe you're right that's why I dipped for an extended period of time. Would you find it weird though if you talked to someone with a girlfriend or boyfriend and they never mention them at all to you (and you been talking for a least a year)? |

Part of the problem is definitely the assumption that constant communication = romantic interest. In turn, he assumes that any woman that likes talking is in love with him. I had women that constantly communicated with me and they became my girlfriend because they were highly interested in me so there's that |

Yeah it is a little weird if there isn’t a single mention of him, but I try not to look too deep into things. If you know she has a boyfriend, it’s best to assume she isn’t interested in you regardless of how it may seem. If she wanted to be with you, she wouldn’t have a boyfriend. It isn’t worth the heartache to stick around and see what might happen. There are way too many women out there for that to be worth it |
