I am beyond confused. you treated that confession like it was an airing of dirty laundry but all you did was showcase that he did exactly what he said he would do which was pay for your plane ticket (whic im confused why he had to do in the first place)

Yeah, as far as the actual situation goes, their stories were pretty much the same, minus Hatred making sure everyone here knows that he low-key threatened CCH when he thought he wasn't getting free airline ticket. Then he goes on to smear all this third-party hearsay that has ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to do with the situation. If I was Tony I'd find a way to put a serious hurt on this piece of shit.
Can someone clarify for me why homeboy expected that his flight get paid for because some shitty house situation didn't come through?
The destination was Portland, so I'm guessing it was unchecked privilege. |

if he based his move on the sole premise that he would be able to move in CCH's apartment then i dont find it unreasonable for him to be compensated, as a gesture of good faith, for said plane ticket.
if he bought his plane ticket already prior to an agreement with CCH then that's debatable

Meh, I lived in Portland about 10 years ago and it wasn't that type of life - maybe things have changed. Portland was more about parents paying for their kids living dorky lives. This seems like some weird "we're gonna be best buds... but I need your help" level manipulation.

if you promised someone something and then it fell through you wouldnt attempt to honor the agreement in another way (i.e. monetarily)? that is obviously what happened here. anybody else would probably do the same thing? unless you just said tough shit to the guy...

i find the whole situation dubious. If he was basing it all on moving in with CCH and CCH didn't really talk it through with his roommate until the 11th hour then I do think it is valid to be pissed at CCH from Inches standpoint. however, essentially threatening him and forcing him to pay it and then complaining online when cch DID pay for his flight out is stupid. he is pissed when Tony said "my roommate didnt want him moving in so i paid for him to come fly out and helped bridge a situation between him and OO" even though that is exactly what Tony did. all things considered it sounds like Tony did his damned best to help Inches out after the original situation fell through and instead Inches is coming on here to complain about it (the very behavior he complained about oldorder doing) AND now hearing how Inches behaved while staying at Oldorder's place it is hard to find even a morsel of sympathy for him considering all that wen't down while he was there (and continues to stay there).

CCH managed to sidestep a living situation with an obvious piece of shit. Whether or not he backed out of the agreement and screwed hatredgrows is irrelevant, given what we know about hatredgrows' character and how little consideration he has for people's shit, relationships, etc. These are probably the kinds of risks you should recognize and accept when you're throwing together a ham-fisted cross country move to live with randoms.
