I'm not back to talk shit or fling mud, I just want to provide an update.
As a result of everything that wen't down I'm finally being honest with myself and have sought help for my drinking. Today is my 18th day sober, the longest I've gone in five years. I'm on Campral to help with cravings, in a three month group therapy program with Kaiser, and going to AA meetings as well. I've come out to pretty much all my friends, and close family members about having a problem with alcohol. It doesn't justify what was done, but I was an absolutely miserable person the last year, particularly the last six months because I knew I needed to control my drinking but really felt like I couldn't. I also know now I wouldn't have ended up in the relationship I did if it wasn't for my drinking in the first place. Things are looking a lot better than I would have even guessed possible three weeks ago. Planning on spending at least the rest of the year just focusing on my mental and physical health. If you think you need help get it, I'm so fucking ready to get this monkey off my back.
EDIT: Integrity show was fun as hell. Funeral Chic brought it, Incendiary had the funnest pit I've ever seen at a Portland show, and Integrity started with vocal test and ended with a Misfits cover with the FC guys.
