He’ll be in the top 25 passing yardage leaders OF ALL TIME by week 5.
I think it’s his 10th season. And he only needs 13,000 yards to crack the top 10.

Pretty sure he was ranked 5th or 6th in fantasy points for QBs last year. That’s not a necessarily a great indicator of being a great QB, but there aren’t any shitty qbs getting those numbers no matter what system they are playing in.

Matt Stafford is definitely a top 50 QB of all time, maybe top 25... But he just gets lost in the shuffle because of the era he's in and his teams had no success. Barry Sanders lite syndrome.

Stafford is still only 30. He's definitely gonna end up real high on the all-time list for most volume stats. It's a great example of terrible timing because he was drafted by a perennial loser coming off the leagues first 0-16 season into a division with one of the best players of all time.

Stafford is a better Eli Manning, without the two insane runs by his defense. They're both making the hall of fame, people will complain, as time passes and emotion gets removed they'll get more credit.

The fact Eli will get into the HOF almost makes me want to boycott the NFL more than all of the shady shit Goodell has done.

I don’t think Stafford should be a hall of famer but I do think he’ll get in. He’ll probably play for long enough in this era to get enough regular season stats, and people we vote him in for that alone.

It's kind of early to say you don't think he should be a hall of famer. Injuries aside he's probably only about half way through his career.

I love seeing people in the Steelers organization trying to shame Lev Bell into coming back. It's not your money or your body.

NFL players usually keep their mouth(s) shut about other players contracts/money situation. This def seems out of the ordinary.
I'm all for NFL players being compensated once they prove they are the best at their position. NFL / Not For Long is the truth. I'd be pissed as fuck if my teammate were bad mouthing over a contract issue.

GB have a need at running back and have 2 1st round picks next year right? maybe one of those would get it done

What do you guys think Bell's trade value is? Depends on how much he wants? I'm pretty sure he can't sign an extension or new contract so he's a rental. That said, a 1st and 3rd?

With that said, I would not be mad if Rodgers had Bell. But I would not want them using a 1st rd pick for it haha.

Is the situation different than Mack's? I thought teams were allowed to talk to Mack's agent RE: extension prior to sending trade offers to OAK? (not 100% sure on that though)

I read something that said the Steelers have no interest in rescinding his franchise tag, and if that's the case, he won't be traded. And further, if he wants to qualify for free agency and get paid this year, he'll have to suit up eventually. Now whether or not that means he'll actually play, who knows. I have a hard time imagining Bell would be happy to just sit on the bench all year, and I have a hard time imagining that the Steelers would pay him $14m to sit on a bench all year.

(not 100% sure on that though) AIUI, Mack is on the final year of his rookie deal(5th year option for 1st rounder) and therefore eligible for the extension. The franchise tag is not a contract but a hold, so any nontag agreement is a new contract, which I don't think can be negotiated after like july somethingth purposefully to prevent holdouts like this.

Of course Steelers players are talking shit about Bell. That former troop they have on the oline is probably liking memes on facebook juxtaposing his contract dispute with D-Day.
