I like Baker so I hope he can break tha cycle. That list is beyond revolting but people aren't even going far enough with it: 2011: Phil Taylor. Had a couple okay seasons, but only played a full season twice and was done with tha Browns (and NFL as a whole) before his fourth season ended. 2010: Joe Haden. Five good seasons, became a pylon, traded to a divisional rival. 2009: Alex Mack. Terrific pick. Career Brown, five Pro Bowls. 2008: No picks until tha FOURTH round. 2007: Joe Thomas. One of tha best picks made in tha last 15 years by anyone. Career Brown. Multiple-time All-pro. Iron man. 2006: Kamerion Whimbley. Very solid player that they inexplicably let go of after his fourth year. 2005: Braylon Edwards. Had a couple very good seasons with them, then let go after his fourth year. 2004. Kellen Winslow. Had two very good seasons with them, then let go after his fourth year. 2003: Jeff Faine. Had a pretty decent career at center, but only three years with tha Browns before being traded. Who knows why. 2002: William Green. Very bad running back, finished up his four years in Cleveland and never played another down in tha NFL. 2001: Gerard Warren. Serviceable journeyman DT. Finished four years in Cleveland and then played another 9-10 years for other teams. 2000: Courtney Brown. Legendary bust of a DE. 17 total sacks in five years in Cleveland. 2000: Tim Couch. LOL. (Didn't exist) 1995: Craig Powell. Linebacker, played three career games for Cleveland. Recorded no stats of any kind. Out of tha league two years later. 1994: Antonio Langham. CB, played two seasons in Cleveland, four total picks. 1993: Steve Everitt. C/G. Three years in Cleveland, a few elsewhere. 1992: Tommy Vardell. Highly touted fullback outta school, Touchdown Tommy, had five total TDs in four years with tha Browns, then accomplished little else on other teams. 1991: Eric Turner. Solid FS, played five years in Cleveland and then wen't elsewhere. My god. That's 20 seasons of first-round picks and only THREE of tha guys were there past five years. THREE! Three fuckin' first-round picks played past their rookie deals.

Everywhere I’ve heard seem to be on roquans side That was the case when it was reported the hold out was over language in the contract about guaranteeing his money if suspended over the new helmet contact rule. Now its widely reported bears agreed to that from the start and his agent is holding out saying his money should still be guaranteed if he is suspended for off the field conduct reasons and thats what everyone is frustrated about, trying to set a precedent no team would give in to: Read this from the chicago tribune: link

Rams and Ravens doing joint practice. Which means Talib vs Crabtree.

But apparently the Browns should only draft OL talent in the first round.

Which is why you don't draft 1 or 0 techs in the 1st round. Coleman is pretty good when he's healthy but he is a bandaid boy.

Alex Mack would have been a career Brown but whatever regime was in charge didn't VALUE the center position, so they let him walk in free agency. Fast forward they spend a first round pick on Cam Erving who easily is the worst NFL football player I've ever seen.

Hue Jackson asking his coaches apinions and then totally disregarding them to their faces anyway was some crazy shit. Keeping players out of practicing ' in case they get hurt' is some weak ass shit! Crazy he still has a job for that alone, never mind rarely winning a game.

How many games does Hue have to win to keep his job? We're in uncharted territory with a 1-31 coach getting a third year, so anything is possible, but does do they bring him back if they win 7? On one hand, they improved on last years win total by 7 games, on the other, the guy is 8-40 as a head coach.

6? But it has to include a quality win over something like the steelers, eagles, saints, falcs. Scrubbing the jets, ravens, bengals, texans isn't going to cut it.

Obviously you gotta feel for what Hue has been going through with the family stuff, but it's not like some dumbass fan is complaining about players not practicing. It's his actual staff and at least one marquee player. So if all these guys that have been in football are saying it, what is Hue's fucking deal?

What are some good football podcasts? Move tha Sticks is good. There are good team centric podcasts like Better Rivals (49ers) that are scheme oriented. NFL matchup is tha best t.v. show.
