There are so many bad to mid ass teams this year. Can't tell if its an even distribution of talent across the league or just a lot of roster mismanagement. Detroit and Buffalo seem like the only two obvious shit kickers. Can y'all imagine a Bills vs Lions Super Bowl and all the people from those two cities together in New Orleans hammered as hell? Sounds awesome.

I think you'd be a fool to bet against KC despite their struggles. They look beatable, but they also lost six games last season. They're probably the best example we've ever seen of a team that turns it on for the post season.

I'm never counting them out ever again. But I will pray on their downfall.

I'm pulling for Lamar but at this point they'd likely need to win three road playoff games and if history is any indication it's not promising.

Jagz were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs after last night's Denver win and on pace to have the first overall pick for the third time in the past five drafts in a draft with no consensus number 1 and no top-of-the-field QBs (for tradesies). Three teams have already fired their HCs, giving them ample time to undergo due diligence on prospective hires, while the Jags have yet to fire a single person, including the GM who built this 2-win (Flacco Indy and NE) behemoth (and also hired Urban Meyer to help assemble the 1-win squad that allowed him to draft Travon Walker over Hutchinson). They are likely to sit TLarry for the remainder of the season after learning the proper en garde position on Sunday.

As sad as it is I'm kind of relieved there aren't any highly touted QB prospects this year so there's no incentive to the Jets losing.

I listened to Dane Brugler talk about this draft class on The Athletic Football Show last week and it did not make me excited to have a decent pick. This draft is going to be a crap shoot.

He's got Vegas written all over him. Maybe the Giants. There's no way he's gonna fall to wherever the Jets end up picking, and even if he did I could see Deion lobbying against him ended up there.

Shadeur2Vegas and WR(noCB)Hunter are my taeks for the bizarre Buffaloes portion of the draft.
Really, though, I just don't see a world where Hunter doesn't opt for WR cash and lifestyle over CB. I don't think any team in their right mind is going to do a two-way player in this era. People seem to forget that the reason there are "so many more injuries these days" is actually that the medical teams, injury protocols, and reporting of injuries are far beyond what they were in Deion's days. A two-way player is just guaranteed to miss half a season every season. Plus, that gives the team significant leverage over Travis in contract negotiations if they can technically write him down as CB. Any agent looking to make proper bank off this kid is going to push him to be taken and play as a WR. Better endorsements, better recognition, more legacy potential, and exponentially more $$$ potential. Not even really an argument.
