Cody's probably out 6 months or longer, Vince is freezing the contract as we speak, dropping that value already.

Cody already finding creative ways to get out of his contract. They probably told him he would be wrestling Seth Rollins through mania.

That's so fucked up. Not only keeping Ibushi under contract when the dude's beyond miserable but fining him for speaking out about their treatment of him. Fuuucked up.

and this is all coming off the back of a pretty successful and well done bosj tournament. i'm again not defending anything new japan has done or how they've treated him but its just like..what was he hoping for? what did he think would happen? wrestling doesn't stop for anything. owen literally died on the ring and they brought the next match out. also not for nothing i just thought about this as i was typing but absolutely nobody backed him up either lmao nobody from outside new japan, nobody inside new japan just a crazy dude going on an insane rant on twitter for...what seems to be nothing. what a terrible situation. wonder if he'll ever actually return or just force himself into retirement or something

He prly did it so he can cut a promo saying when one of his wheels fall off he puts em back on and gets to where he needs to be to finish the job or some shit. Cody is a hard-rocker.

I was thinking the same thing about Ibushi, no one backed him up. AEW was announcing the Forbidden Door pay per view and you'd think Kenny would at least tweet out support for his buddy, makes the whole thing even weirder/sadder. But NJPW should chill, like Ibushi going to DDT or NOAH or AEW fulltime would really hurt their business all that much?
Cody needs to chill too, fuck dude. Even Kurt Angle drew the line at wrestling with torn muscles and he was on every pain pill known to man.
